Brian and I have had a lot of fun working on updating our house since we bought it a few years ago. We’ve replaced counters, appliances,  and a lot of the lighting. Our galley kitchen, for example, had a CEILING FAN. We quickly replaced that with some great track lighting. We also replaced the really outdated ceiling fixture above the sink with this cute pendant:

I love brushed nickel fixtures – I think they lend a clean, contemporary feel to a space – and the light that escapes out of the perforations creates a nice effect.

    We just built a new house last year and haven’t found any trim for the recessed lighting we have in our living room. They have some neat ones in brushed nickel that I think would look great!

    We are nearly finished remodeling the girls’ room. We have a tinkerbell ceiling fan and light already, but it makes noise and isn’t bright enough. If I won the gift certificate, I would use it toward: Vaxcel – FN44322W – 44″ Alice Ceiling Fan. So cute with the pink with while polka dot fan blades. And I really like that it has a globe light – I find those do a better job of lighting up a room than individual bulbs do. Following you!
