Answer: Rubbermaid Glass with Easy Find Lids™ is manufactured from soda lime tempered glass.
    – Soda lime tempered glass is a lighter weight alternative to borosilicate glass that offers the ability to manufacture with thinner walls, which in the case of Rubbermaid Glass Food Storage, enables Easy Find Lids™ functionality and improved aesthetics.
    – Soda lime tempered glass is safe for kitchen use and is significantly more resistant to breaking on impact than borosilicate glass and is able to withstand temperature changes appropriate for its intended use.
    – Soda lime tempered glass is processed by heating above its annealing point and then cooling rapidly– achieving thermal shock resistance.
    – Both soda lime and borosilicate bakeware can experience thermal breakage if exposed to sudden or uneven temperature changes. To avoid breakage from thermal shock, ALWAYS use as directed in the product use & care instructions.

Checked out the website. Fun Fact Learned: The Rubbermaid Containers should always be used in a pre-heated oven as inconsistent temperatures may cause the product to break.
