Rubbermaid glass containers are also ideal for reheating foods in the microwave and the glass bases are oven safe up to 425°F.

I learned that glassware should always be placed in a preheated oven so that it warms evenly, thus avoiding cracking.

  • Marsha Hembrick August 9, 2011 at 6:03 am

The Easy Find Lids glass containers are designed differently than the Premier lids and are not interchangeable. Although they may fit, they will not provide a good seal.

  • Rosey August 9, 2011 at 2:01 pm

The Rubbermaid Glass Use & Care states that glassware should always be placed in a preheated oven. This is because:
    – If the oven is not pre-heated, glass could be exposed to uneven sources of heat, which could cause breakage.
