Giveaway: Spook Up Your Family’s Halloween Dinner with Tombstone Pizza!

I love the idea of having holiday traditions, but with having two small boys (and, well, with me being a huge wimp) we don’t really want to incorporate anything too scary for Halloween. We typically make Halloween cookies, the boys paint little pumpkins and they help us pick out a design for Brian and I to carve in a large pumpkin – and of course the boys dress up and we take them around to trick-or-treat at several local community events.

When I found out Tombstone (the “Official Pizza of Halloween”) had a Halloween kit, I knew I wanted to check it out and see if I could get some fun ideas to use with the boys. There are recipes, games, party tips, frames to add to photos, and even downloads – a soundtrack, computer wallpapers and posters – everything you need to throw a fun Halloween party. I love that there are plenty of family-friendly items but you could make it scarier if you wanted to.

We decided to get a Tombstone pizza since Halloween is right around the corner – we tried the Double-Top Pepperoni Pizza:

It was SO good! The crust was nice and crispy, there was plenty of cheese and sauce, and tons of pepperoni. Definitely the best frozen pizza we’ve had in forever, and one we’ll get again.

Whether you’re planning a Halloween party or just want to do something a little fun with your family, be sure to check out Tombstone’s Halloween Party Kit for fun Halloween freebies!

One lucky reader will win three coupons for FREE Tombstone pizzas! This contest is open to all U.S. residents. Entries will be accepted until the end of the day (midnight Central) November 8. By entering the giveaway, you agree to the Official Rules.

1998

1998 was the year Brian and I met. We were both sixteen. He, his mom and his sister were new to our church, so my friend and I invited him and another new kid to come over to my house with some other friends after church one evening. They shot us down! They told us they already had plans, so we told them bye and headed toward our cars. Suddenly, a woman strode up behind us. “Hi, I’m Michelle. My son and his friend DO want to come over tonight.” Yup, that’s right. Brian’s mom had to force him to hang out with me at first. Ahhh, true love. :)

He and I quickly became friends, despite apparent differences. I actually had a boyfriend at the time, but soon after that relationship ended (and had been headed that way for a while, really) and we started “going out” October 18. We decided this through Instant Messenger, by the way. Cool, I know. We talked online all the time, which gave us a great chance to get to know a lot about each other.

I’m sure some people thought we were an odd couple from the surface – he dyed his hair blue, wore JNCO’s, and was incredibly quiet. Then here I was, blonde hair, GAP clothes head to toe, and, um, a little bubbly. And talkative. But something just clicked, and we knew we were a good fit together.

So, here we are thirteen years after having started dating, and eight years after getting married, and I still love looking back on how we got our start. We were just kids when we started dating, and have changed so much since then, but our relationship has only gotten better. I’m so very thankful to have him as my partner in love, in parenting, and in life.
