It’s going to be 80 degrees this weekend, so summer has basically already arrived in Texas. There’s about a month of school left, which means summer vacations are right around the corner. I’m sure you can hear the collective sigh of relief heard ’round the country – we all look forward to getting away as a family!

As any parent knows, though, traveling with children (especially young ones like ours) can be stressful. There’s so much to pack (which, seriously, how can such little people require SO much stuff?) and if you’re flying there are even more things to navigate before you’re on your way to relaxation. It’s important to have some travel tools up your sleeve, and thankfully, programs like CLEAR exist to make flying a much more pleasant experience. CLEAR is a membership-based service that allows travelers to get through airport security faster.

CLEAR is now open in 11 major airports with more opening very soon. Our current airports with CLEAR lanes are San Francisco (SFO), San Jose (SJC), Las Vegas (LAS), Denver (DEN), Houston (IAH & HOU), San Antonio (SAT), Dallas (DFW), Orlando (MCO), Baltimore (BWI), Westchester (HPN), and Miami (MIA) coming soon.

If you’re a baseball fan, you’ll love this: CLEAR is now also expanding into select Major League Baseball parks around the country. Starting at AT&T Park in San Francisco and Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas, CLEAR members and their families can now get into the game faster (with an expedited security screening process) with just a tap of their finger. My in-laws are BIG Texas Rangers fans, so I think they’d love this!

To enroll in CLEAR, you must present either an US Passport or US issued Permanent Resident/Alien Registration Card PLUS an approved secondary ID (State Issued ID, Drivers License, Military ID, or Foreign Passport). All IDs must be valid, unamended, and unexpired. You must be at least 18 years old. A CLEAR membership costs $179 annually, or about $15 a month. You can add a spouse to your account for $50 and kids under 18 are free if they are traveling with a CLEAR member. I love that, since all three of our kids are well under 18.

Thank you to CLEAR for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try their service! And if you want even more inspiration to try CLEAR, here’s a code for a two-month free trial: CLEAR2M1. It’s a risk-free way to try it out, and to get through the airport more quickly. Happy travels, everyone!
