This post is part of a compensated ambassadorship with Denny’s. All opinions are honest and are my own.
As you can tell by the name of my blog, I like to save money. I’m sure most of you do, too. And if you’re like us, eating out can be one of those things that very quickly adds up and drains a large chunk of your food budget for the month. I know for us, with three kids, the total for a dinner bill can be astounding sometimes.
Fear not, friends. You can eat out – with the whole family – and still live to tell the tale.
Yep, you read that right. Denny’s offers free kids meals – usually on Tuesdays, but check your local Denny’s to find out when it’s available near you. Our location offers this twice a week – Tuesdays & Saturdays.
Our kids love going to Denny’s. They think the menu activities are fun, they love the fun kids’ cups, and they like the food. Our youngest, who’s 3, likes that it’s super easy for her to order all by herself (if you have a 3-year-old you know how absolutely crucial this is).
Denny’s provides two free kids meals per adult meal ($6 or more) purchased, which is above and beyond what’s offered at other restaurants – this is a huge benefit for us, since we’re eating with three kids. And Denny’s has tons of affordable options for adults, too, meaning that even with purchasing two adult meals we can keep the bill for our family of 5 to $20 – or even a little less, including tax & tip – which is amazing.
So, next time you’re wanting to treat the family to a meal out and don’t want to break the bank, just visit Denny’s on a Kids Eat Free day – and have fun!
