We’re hitting the road! My family and I will be making the drive from Texas to Florida soon (over 18 hours!), and posting about our experiences along the way. We’re excited to be trying a 2011 Ford Explorer for our trip – the space seems like it will fit us well, and wow do I miss driving an SUV!
While in Orlando we’ll be staying at a Global Resort Home, a great option for family lodging. The house we’ll be in has a game room and a pool! Here’s hoping the temperatures will stay nice so we can give the pool a try. This will be our first time staying in a vacation home instead of a hotel, and I’m pretty excited – we’ll actually have space, and will have a full kitchen at our disposal on top of the fun stuff.
We’re going to get to visit Disney World while we’re in Florida (which is still a surprise to the boys – I can’t wait to see their faces when we tell them!) and hope to do some other fun things, too.
