Well, I recently got the chance to look through an amazing selection of Valentine’s gifts at RedEnvelope.com, and let me tell you – it was hard to decide! There were several items I thought about choosing to review, but I finally settled on something – the Sculpted Jewelry Tree.

Isn’t the silhouette of it so pretty? The tree is finished in satin nickel with a solid mango-wood base. Even with nothing on it, it would be a nice piece to have out.

The branches are perfect for holding bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings:

And the base works wonderfully for watches and bracelets:

I seriously can’t say enough how much I love the tree. It’s a great addition to our bedroom, and it’s nice having my day-to-day jewelry out and easily accessible like that.

I have to admit, I am hoping Brian will see this post and go check out Red Envelope if he needs ideas for Valentine’s Day, because there are still several things from there I’d love!

    My Worst Valentine’s Day Present
    My husband and I had been dating for about a year, but it was our first Valentine’s Day and he was so proud of the gift he got me–for days he was telling me how much I was going to love it. So I went all out and bought him a $300 watch that he really wanted. Valentine’s Day arrives he gives me my tiny box– I open it to find a silver claddagh ring –exactly like the one already on my finger. The only piece of jewelery that I wear and had been wearing for the past 8 years. He told me “it looked like something I would like” he went to put it on my finger and had a fit when he found one already there–he took the one he purchased (that was at least 2 sizes too big) and threw it out my eleventh floor window–and stormed out!

    I would say my worst gift was the gift not given. My hubby seemed to have forgotten me. Didn’t even give me a card. We haven’t repeated that year.
