Here in Texas, getting snow is a momentous event. We all got to stay home today and have had a lot of fun playing out in the yard and snuggling up on the couch to watch movies. Here are a few photos from our day.
Brian pretty much made this snowman by himself while we watched from the front door. We came out to decorate. :)
My guys. This is what happens when I say, “Look at Mom for just one second so I can take a picture!”
LOVE those cheeks!
When we went outside for the second time this afternoon, J just all of a sudden dropped to the ground to make a snow angel; I didn’t even know he knew what those were.
Now we’re inside cozy and warm, about to eat dinner and then watch Toy Story 3 with some popcorn – a great end to a fun day! Hope you’re all staying warm and safe!
What great photos! Snow day in Texas sounds very fun for the kids! :)
Blessings!
Thanks, LaVonne! It was a lot of fun, but I could see how snow could get old if you had to deal with it for a long time each year! I’m too wimpy for long-term cold. :D
You know; I wasn’t looking for it (come Friday–here in Corpus Christi TX), but looking at your pictures makes me think twice about the “argh” I was feeling!!! Looks like fun!
Having fun in the snow – so cute! Me? I am completely tired of all the snow. Waiting anxiously for spring:)
Thanks! We’ve loved the snow since it’s such a rarity in Texas, but I am SO ready for the roads to be ice-free so we can get out and about again! Four days cooped up in the house is a long period of time with two little ones. We’ve had fun and all, but going to Target sounds lovely right now. :)
Ah, so cute!
Thanks Connie! :)
