Ok, moms – raise your hand if you’ve ever had a day where fitting in a shower is virtually impossible.
I know you’re with me on this one! There are just some days when your child is sick. Or you’ve got work, then an activity, then dinner, then bath for the kids, then crashing in bed. Regardless, sometimes you just don’t have anytime for yourself, including the basics.
I have oily hair, so if I skip a wash my hair feels gross all day. When I got the chance to review Batiste Dry Shampoo, I was excited to have the opportunity to try something that might remedy that problem.
Batiste is a quick and easy alternative to washing your hair; simply spray lightly and evenly, massage through with your fingertips, brush out, and you’re done!
I tried the original scent first. Right after using the product I could tell a difference in my hair; my roots weren’t flat anymore. Throughout the day I checked to see how my hair felt, and the fresh feeling lasted well all day. It wasn’t exactly the same as my hair looks/feels freshly washed, but it did made my hair look good on its second day, and that is something I don’t normally experience.
I tried the Blush scent next, and it worked just as well. Personally I prefer the original, but I’m also one of those people that doesn’t wear perfume so it’s definitely a personal preference.
I’d recommend Batiste Dry Shampoo to have on hand for those days you just don’t have time to wash your hair. It’ll revitalize your hair in just a few minutes and give you the time to go chase after children, get your project at work finished, and whatever else is on your too-long to do list.
One lucky reader will win two containers of Batiste – original & blush! This contest is open to all US readers. Entries will be accepted until the end of the day (midnight CST) Monday, April 18.

My trick for getting ready quick is to have hubby watch the babies while I rush around, lol! I do very little make up, usually eyeliner and mascara makes me look more alive than not wearing anything at all. For my hair I tie it up in a quick bun. I can achieve this in 5 minutes easy!

be ready to get grossed out LOL! (please have pitty on me I have a new baby) I flat iron my hair on my day off so that all I have to do is touch up for a few days (until it starts looking greasy) and when I do, rarely, wear make up and need to do so two days in a row…..well, I have been known to not wash my face and just touch it up the next morning……..like I said, I have a new baby in the house!

My trick is to skip a day of washing my hair, throw it in a ponytail and just apply a quick sweep of mascara.
A good flat iron to iron out the kinks in my hair quick. Also, eyeliner, mascara, and blush only when in a rush
I don’t wear much make up and have my hair cut to blow and go

Slap on some jeans, t-shirt and slip-on shoes; apply just eyeliner to my eyes, pinch my cheeks to make them red, brush my hair upside down and lightly spray it with hair spray, and I’m ready! ;)
On the Road alot? A good wool jumper( Gray or black) is essential- you can wear any colored blouse with it, if you’re dressing up, wear a silk White Blouse and sweep your hair up in a bun!
Plan ahead what you are going to wear the night before !!!

I have to be honest and say I don’t have any tricks for getting ready quickly. I take forever. This dry shampoo would be very nice to give me a day without shampooing.

My trick for getting ready quickly is to have a haircut that does not require lots of work! If I dont have time to blow dry, then so be it. My hair still looks great!
