Lysol is on a mission to help everyone learn the importance of proper hand-washing to prevent the spread of germs from the everyday things we do. There are so many ways to prevent sickness, hand washing sure is a helpful step in the right direction.
Health experts recommend regular hand washing to help stop the spread of germs. However, many families do not suspect that the very germs they are washing away may be found on their soap pumps. To help families stay healthy, LYSOL offers the LYSOL No-TouchHand Soap System. It recently won the 2011 Product of the Year award in the Personal Hygiene Category. Voted by over 60,000 consumers, the LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap System automatically senses your hands and dispenses the perfect amount of soap to help kill 99.9% of bacteria, along with helping to moisturize your hands.
The No-Touch hand soap system is available in white or a stainless steel look that makes hand washing easy and fun, helps consumers avoid the germy soap pump, and blends with any kitchen or bathroom décor. With the LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap system, healthy hands are automatic all over your home. So when it comes to helping prevent the spread of germs, Lysol has you covered. If you’re a parent of small children like I am, you probably know how much cajoling and convincing it typically takes to get small children to wash their hands. Our boys think the No-Touch System is so much fun and actually ask to use it. Also, until reading this, I had never thought about the germ issue ON soap pumps – but it makes sense. When you go to wash your hands and have to pump soap, your germy hand is what touches the pump! Ew.
We put our system in the bathroom, since that’s where it’s easiest for our whole family to use it. After seeing how well it works I’m planning on getting one to have in the kitchen, too – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to clumsily try to pump soap with my wrist because my hands had raw meat germs on them. This will be a much more convenient and sanitary option – plus, it’s something fun to have, and the stainless steel look is a nice touch.
One lucky reader will win their own LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap System! This contest is open to all US readers. Entries will be accepted until the end of the day (midnight CST) Saturday, April 16.
