Otterbox Reflex Series Case Review

Ever since using my first Otterbox case I have been a huge fan of the protection these cases provide. I used the Defender Series case on my iPhone 3 and we use one on our iPad too.

I recently got the chance to review a new Reflex Series Case for my iPhone 4.

From Otterbox.com:

The OtterBox Reflex Series case for iPhone 4 is compact and lightweight yet inside incorporates revolutionary, rule-defying technology. Surrounding your iPhone 4 with a cushion of air and inspired by the crumple zone of a car, this case can take a hit and keep your precious phone as good as the day you got it. Plus, you’ll love how easily the Reflex Series snaps apart for convenient docking access! Find maximum OtterBox protection in the smallest, most slim fitting form.

From my experience, the case really is compact & lightweight. If you’re comparing it to the Defender series, it is sleeker and easier to slide into your pocket. I dropped my phone (accidentally, not as a test!) from standing height onto a concrete floor and it survived without incident. I think this case provides the best of both worlds – extreme protection with a nice, slim design.

There are other colors available for this case, too:

You can buy your own Reflex Series case here – it’s available for both AT&T and Verizon versions of the iPhone, and will soon be available for the Blackberry Curve and the iPod Touch 4th Generation.

Note: I received a Reflex Series case from Otterbox for this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
