How many of you are Vera Bradley fans? I’m betting almost all of you have your hands up right now. The vibrant prints are really popular all around the country! Well, guess what – Vera Bradley has introduced four new summer colors that I’d like to introduce you to:

Deco Daisy

English Meadow

Viva La Vera

Watercolor

Notice something different about that last photo? Yup, the Sophie bag in Watercolor was recently sitting on my dining room table, waiting for one of you lucky readers to call it your own!

This print’s neutral background with vibrant flowers loosely sketched is perfect for summer, don’t you think? It, along with the other three new prints, is available in a variety of sizes, like the Sophie (pictured above), the Bowler, and more. I know what you’re really excited about… like I mentioned earlier, you could

One lucky reader will win the Vera Bradley Sophie bag in Watercolor pictured above. This contest is open to US and Canadian residents. Entries will be accepted until the end of the day (midnight Central time) Thursday, May 5.

Mandatory Entry: Since Mother’s Day is approaching, and Vera Bradley is a great Mother’s Day gift, I thought this would be fun – comment telling me what you love best about your mom or about another important woman in your life.

What I like best about my mother is that I can say what I think without implications….
I’ve made a moron of myself in front of her a million times, and we can leave it at that… :p
    :)

I suppose I don’t have many positive female role models in my life. Its hard for me to pick someone. However, my husband had the sweetest and most nurturing grandmother “mimi”. She was very encouraging and loving.. this will be our first Mother’s day without her. We do love and miss her, but we know she’s somewhere special waiting for our arrival too.

I do enjoy the incourage blog, lots of encouragement there.

I adore my MIL. I credit her with making me the mom and wife that I am today. She’s kind, caring, strong, and grateful and I try to be like her every day.

If I win, the purse will be going to her!

    Thanks
    Connie

I’m following you from Friendly Friday!

Love Vera Bradley! Who ever thought of taking a simple concept of a quited design and making a purse out of it! GENIUS!

My entry for the giveaway is this:

As much as I loved my mom, we weren’t really that close. The one woman that has had the most impact on my life has to be my bestest friend Janet. She has been the sister and mom where my mom left off. NEVER judging my decisions, supportive, a shoulder to cry on and ALWAYS takes time out to hear my ramble on about something or hear me out when I’m angry about something! Her patience is invaluable! We shop together, have laughing fits, and love going to garage sales together! She is the most giving person I know, always thinking of others, ALWAYS! I’ve known her for over 22 years, our children played with eachother since they were two (both are grown and living their own lives now). They say people come into our lives for a reason and she is the mom I really should have had!

Both my Mom and Mother in law passed away this past year, however my 92 year old Aunt, is also like a mom to me. What I like most about her is that she is very loving and very caring, especially to my children. Thanks so much.
