Get Started on Your Spring Cleaning at PetSmart With the Pawsitively Clean by Bissell Yikes! Compact Machine

Have you done your spring cleaning yet? There’s just something great about getting your house fresh and sparkling, isn’t there? With kids and pets, sometimes it can be difficult to get to that point, though. Oh, who am I kidding? It can be almost impossible, right? I know you’re sitting there nodding your head!

Did you know you can get started on the path to a clean house by shopping at PetSmart? Between regular traffic, kids’ messes, and the dirt your pets track in, carpets get dirty insanely fast. PetSmart has several options for carpet cleaners that not only clean up regular wear and tear, but also the heavier duty dirt that can come with pets.

We got a chance to review the Pawsitively Clean by Bissell Yikes! Compact Machine from PetSmart. I can’t tell you how excited I was to get this, because our carpet almost always needs cleaning in some spot or another so I know this machine will be a lifesaver.

And everything wraps up neatly so you can store it away when it’s not in use. You can see the back view below, along with our miniature dachshund Josie that is one of the primary causes of the dirty carpet (and that’s with tiny paws! I can only imagine how much dirt a larger dog could track in):

We put the machine into use on a test patch of carpet so I could show you before and after results. The area by the back door and along our dining area is high traffic and tends to get dirty really quickly, so it was the perfect spot to work on. This photo really doesn’t do it justice, but there are all sorts of spots from sippy cups being dropped, or from Josie coming in from outside.

Using the Bissell Yikes! Compact Machine was really easy. We just poured the cleaner and water into the chamber, then turned it on and waited for the heater light to show that the water was hot and ready to use.

To use it, you just squeeze the trigger handle to spray cleaning solution, then use the brush to agitate the spot, clean the carpet, and suck up the dirt. Here’s our after photo:

SO much better! We were really impressed with the results, and simultaneously disgusted with the dirt the machine got out of the carpet – check it out:

Ew! I was almost embarrassed to show y’all how dirty it was, but I really wanted you to see how well the machine works at pulling up dirt.

I’d highly recommend the Pawsitively Clean Bissell Yikes! Compact Machine. It’s small and doesn’t take up too much space in your house, but it’s still a powerful and effective cleaner.
