We’ve played Cranium for years and it’s one of my favorites for when we have friends over, so I was excited to get a chance to try out the newest member of the Cranium family – Cranium Brain Breaks.

About the Game: Enjoy the full cranium experience in instant, fast-paced fun anytime and anywhere. With more than 200 games that can be played in 60 seconds or less, families race to beat the timer using classic guessing, acting, sketching, sculpting and word-puzzling skills. A fifteen-minute break is enough to make family game night happen with cranium brain breaks. With years of experience getting families to hum, act, sculpt, draw and spell their way to victory, cranium is adding “snackable” fun to the family game night menu. Cranium brain breaks includes more than 200 individual games that can be played in 60 seconds or less, bringing families the full cranium experience in just 15 minutes.

Brian and I tried out the game with just the two of us, and it was a lot of fun! We did decide we’d like to try it soon with friends, but it was a good way to get us to be creative and definitely got us laughing.

We had to do things like write our names with our feet, balance dice on our heads and walk across the room, and name 10 things in our refrigerator without looking.

One card had me sketch out two nursery rhymes – check out my mad drawing skills:

My very favorite, though? We had to complete three dance moves. I somehow, miraculously, convinced Brian to let me record his attempts:

If you want to have an excuse to bust a move in your living room or just have fun with friends, you ought to give Cranium Brain Breaks a try! We loved the variety of activities, and it’s great that you can make the game last as long as you’d like – each card can be completed in 60 seconds, so you can play the game quickly by just picking a few cards.

One lucky reader will win their own Cranium Brain Breaks! This contest is open to all US residents. Entries will be accepted until the end of the day (midnight Central) Wednesday, October 19.

Mandatory Entry: Comment on this post telling me one of Brian’s dance moves from the video above.

(Only valid after the required entry has been completed)

Please leave a comment for each extra entry – if you blog about this giveaway and get 2 entries, for example, comment 2 times.

Note: We received a copy of this game for review, and one is being provided for the giveaway. I was not compensated monetarily. All opinions are honest and are my own.
