This past Saturday I did The Color Run with a group and we had a blast! It really is a happy 5K, and I’d highly recommend giving it a try if it comes to an area near you!

I can’t even begin to tell you how crowded it was there – there were thousands of people ahead of us, and this is the view behind us as we waited in the starting chute.

Color!! This part was so fun – they played great music and every 5 minutes or so they’d have everyone toss color in the air.

    Oh my gosh, how fun!!!!! I especially love the festive nails. :) I have got to get my butt in gear and participate in something like this.

      Thanks! I would highly recommend it – it’s a blast! It’s more of a “fun run” so there’s not as much of a drive to have the best time ever, as you are out there just to enjoy it and get some activity. There are also “Color me Rad” and “Run or Dye” races so between the three I’m sure you could find one near you!

    Looks like fun! My daughter and I are doing the Color Me Rad 5K on the 15th and I can’t wait!

      It is a BLAST! One thing I’ll do for my next one is bring a handkerchief to cover my nose/mouth with for the after party. When you’re just running through the color stations it’s totally fine without it, but there is a LOT of the colored powder flying at the after party. It’s sooo fun, though. I hope y’all love it!
