Acorn Disclosure

We’re pretty excited that Christmas is right around the corner. Well, I’m pretty excited. My kids are absolutely thrilled and are convinced time isn’t moving quickly enough to propel us to December 24.

As a parent, though, I’m thinking about all that needs to be done between now and then. I’m not nearly far enough along with gift shopping, I have cleaning I should really get done for company that’s coming, and of course I need to stay on top of all the essentials we need around the house.

Sam’s Club is a really great solution for us in this most busy time of year; I can get both what we need and what our friends and family want for Christmas.

SamsClub-Front

I took E to Sam’s with me the other night to pick up a few gifts, and before we went I decided to take advantage of their Club Pickup feature to order some things we needed – paper towels & laundry detergent. I love being able to do that, because it means I can have my big, bulky items waiting for me at customer service and I don’t have to lug them around the store (especially a nice thing when it’s just me and my 3-year-old shopping buddy). I just placed my order online and clicked “Pick up in Club” – and didn’t even have to pay until I picked it up.

Bounty-Sams-ScreenShot

When we got to customer service, our paper towels & detergent were waiting in a cart for us, and the Sam’s Club employee just wheeled it over to us – so easy.

SamsBulk-Pickup

I mean, look how big these items are – they would’ve been a pain to haul around the store, but they were ready and waiting for us. Love it!

Sams-BulkItems

When we buy essentials at Sam’s Club, we also save money, which means that we have that savings to use towards other things. Did you know that members who take advantage of purchasing participating holiday essentials will save about $97?

EverydayEssentials

Nearly $100 can go an awfully long way at Sam’s. Check out all we were able to get:

We got Christmas music and a fun pop-up book to read as a family ($22.22);

ChristmasBook-CD

I found doodle books for both the boys, since they love to draw. ($16.72);

StarWars-Book-Sams

PeteTheCat-Book-Sams

I managed to sneak something for E right under her nose! She will love this Cinderella LEGO set ($24.97):

Sams-Legos

I got a set of book lights for the boys – one for each of their stockings:

BookLights

Pinkalicious box set, also for E (I know, I know, this is definitely the last year I’ll be able to get away with buying her gifts as she’s right there with me! – $19.98):

Pinkalicious-BookSet

That brings our total to $93.87. I spent $7.49 on a bag of dark chocolate-coated cranberries, which we were too busy snacking on to take photos of.

I’m really impressed with what all we were able to get for $100, and I’m glad to have Sam’s Club for all our shopping needs. Easy shopping = one happy momma = one full, happy home.

Now here’s your chance to win one of FIVE gift cards to Sam’s Club so you can buy your own everyday essentials – or so you can get a little further ahead on your Christmas shopping!
