This 18-piece playset includes realistic sounds and multiple moving parts! It comes with 1 free-wheeling CAT machine, working gantry and container cranes, and a freight ship. There are construction site sound effects, music and fun vocal phrases to add to the fun!

Our boys LOVE construction machines, so this is right up their alley and lets them play out some scenes they see as we drive by construction sites. The noises really add to the fun, and all of the pieces can be easily contained within the set for storage. The set can be found at Toys R Us, Target, Target.com, Walmart, and Kmart.

Note: I received a CAT playset to facilitate its inclusion in my gift guide. I was not compensated monetarily for this post.

My cousin is a mechanic for CAT and I am always looking for more toys for his kids – this is something they’d love!

We actually have a CAT vehicle toy that makes sounds and rolls around when tipped over and then righted again. It was fun for the first couple of weeks, but it short-circuited or something and now it’s in the garage as an outdoor only toy, because it randomly starts making noise and saying, “Go-go-go!” I guess that’s the risk one takes with electronic toys. :P
