Menu Plan Monday & a GIVEAWAY!

Hi, everyone! Well, my grand plans to try all the Food on the Table recipes faltered because a) I didn’t count on how much we’d have leftover… and I can’t let leftovers go to waste, and b) we had some nice friends ask us over for dinner Thursday… and I can’t say no to dinner! :)

So, this week is really just a continuation of trying those recipes, and I am still planning to write a little review and post photos of each recipe we try. You can go back to that post to see FIVE, count ’em, five, recipes that you can try too if you’d like.

To make up for not really having any new content for my MPM this week, I’m hosting a giveaway!

This is an absolutely adorable cookbook filled with fun ideas for fall baking – and it includes some recipes from Bakerella, whose blog I always love reading (and whose cake balls are featured on the cover!) that would be great for a party. I received this book for being part of a focus group to pick the cover and figured I’d share it with y’all instead of keeping it for myself.

The winner will receive one copy of the Betty Crocker Fall Baking cookbook, which sells for $7.00 on their site. This is open to all U.S. and Canadian residents. Since I want to make sure you get this in time to actually use it for the fall, this is a short-lived giveaway. I’ll be picking a winner Thursday morning, so entries will be accepted until midnight CST on Wednesday, October 20.
