Have you noticed my new look? I’ve been wanting to update the blog design for a while and thought today was the perfect day to make the change. A year ago today, after urging from my mom & brother, I decided to give blogging a try (well, blogging for people other than family, and about more than  just updates on the kids), and the Frugal Novice was born! I’ve learned so much from when I first started, I’ve had a blast, and I’ve gotten to know a lot of great people.

To celebrate the occasion, I’ll be posting FOUR giveaways throughout the day! Thanks so much to all of you that have read my blog and especially those of you that have been a part of things from the start – I can’t wait to see what the next year has to bring!

Hi! I'm Christi, the blogger here at Frugal Novice. I'm a Texan, born and raised, and I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Brian. I love baking, cooking, reading, DIY-ing, and spending time with my three great kids, who are 8, 6, & 3.
